Ekaterina Maksimova

Ekaterina graduated with honors from the Chemistry Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2010. In 2016, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialties of biochemistry and high-molecular compounds, dedicated to the synthesis and study of the properties of a polycationic carrier for delivering drugs based on nucleic acids to cancer cells. In 2010-2011, she worked as a laboratory assistant-researcher at the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, and in 2011-2016 as a junior researcher at the I.I. Mechnikov Institute of Vaccines and Serums. Ekaterina is a co-author of 11 scientific publications and 1 international patent on the effectiveness of polymer carriers for transfection. In 2014-2015, she received additional professional education at the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, specializing in Marketing Management. In 2016-2017, she worked as a senior manager at ZAO BTK Bioservice, a manufacturer of reagent kits for clinical laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases. Since the end of 2017, Ekaterina worked as a manager for the development of directions of the Exacte Labs laboratory center, from November 2019 to October 2021 she was the head of the clinical laboratory diagnostics department. Currently, Ekaterina is the Head of the Biotechnological Drugs Research Department of the analytical center.
